A partnership to connect English language learners with volunteers for mutual cross-cultural learning.
A program of OneMorgan County & International Association for Refugees
Wayfinders English Program matches people desiring to learn English with volunteer teachers. There is one teacher with one student. This provides more intensive English lessons for the student and an opportunity for mutual learning about culture, family, and life together in our community. Most lessons are held in the student’s home at a suitable time for the teacher and the student for 2 hours a week, but can also meet in the library or a cafe.
NO TEACHING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
Teaching materials are provided.
