Morgan County Family Center – a community organization able to help in multiple languages with: rent & utility assistance, parent education, leadership development, and various family matters.
Housing Resource Center – part of the Morgan County Family Center focused on providing financial literacy & home loan education, facilitating housing-related trainings, and helping find various community housing solutions.
Morgan Community College – a variety of program areas of study, including regularly-recurring classes for English as a Second Language (ESL) and General Educational Development (GED).
Morgan County Human Services – food, energy, financial, and medical benefits assistance (e.g., SNAP, Medicaid).
United Way of Morgan County – a community organization aiming to create positive changes for the county’s residents through funding local agencies and by working in community partnerships in the areas of: housing, food access, children & youth, and health & welfare.
OneMorgan County – a community orgainization which fosters relationships among diverse people and organizations to strengthen the well-being, safety, and cohesive nature of the community. They often help with interpretation needs, “know your rights” trainings, and other community navigation needs. They are a critical part of the Wayfinders program for English learning.
Refugee Highway Partnership North America – a Christian network of individuals who share compassion for those who have been forcibly displaced, including the many refugees and asylum seekers who arrive in North America each year. The network seeks to connect and mobilize leaders, churches, and organizations to effectively engage with refugees.
