If you live in or near Fort Morgan, Colorado, and would like to occasionally serve as a volunteer through the local efforts of our IAFR Northern Colorado team, we would love to have your help! Please let us know what areas interest you below. This will not obligate you to anything. We will simply put you on a list of people to contact when help is needed. If and when you are contacted, you can decide at that point in time to accept or decline the opportunity.
Volunteering
English Teaching
The time commitment is typically two hours per week. Locations vary. Training and materials are provided. No experience necessary.
Drop-In Office
The time commitment is at least two hours per week. Friendliness, flexibility, patience, and a willingness to learn are essential. Duties vary widely, but often revolve around topics such as: hiring and employment, financial issues, immigration, and community navigation.
Transportation
Most of the requests we would respond to would be for medical or immigration-related appointments at locations 0.75-2 hours away from Fort Morgan.
